After completion of the course and receipt of Certified Health Care Risk Manager (CHCRM) designation, the initial credentialing is valid for two years and then must renewed every two years. In order to apply to continue to use the CHCRM designation individuals must attest that they have completed at least 12 hours of continuing education (courses or reading of books, articles or research briefs) over the two-year period for which they have been certified.
The renewal fee includes two years of use of the CHCRM Credential. You will be asked to document that you have completed at least 12 hours of continuing education (courses or reading of books, articles or research briefs) over the two-year period for which they have been certified. If you have not completed this requirement prior to completing the renewal application, you will be provided with access to at least 12 hours of articles or research briefs that can be used to complete the renewal process.
